David Pinder Dip CII Senior Financial Planning Adviser

David joined HSBC Bank plc after leaving school, spending the first 8 years of his career in retail banking. In 1994, David decided to take a position as a Financial Planning Manager for HSBC and progressed to Senior Commercial Financial Adviser in the Nottingham and Lincolnshire areas. He spent the next 19 years successfully helping personal and commercial clients build and protect their wealth through focussed and effective holistic financial planning.

The changing business environment presented David and his colleagues with an exciting opportunity in the summer of 2013, when HSBC Bank decided to withdraw its service of providing face to face holistic financial planning to its commercial customers. David took the opportunity to leave the bank after 27 years and joined some of his old colleagues at HFB Financial Planning Ltd as one of the Primary Members of the financial adviser team.

He is a professionally qualified financial adviser with a successful record of providing financial advice to clients and building long term relationships through trust and fully understanding his client's needs. He is enthusiastic and has chosen to remain in a client facing role as he enjoys meeting clients and helping them plan for their long term future. David has spent his entire career building his brand through honesty, integrity, technical expertise and taking a straight forward approach to helping clients achieve their goals and aspirations.

Outside of work David enjoyed a long career in both football and cricket in the Nottingham area. He played cricket in the Notts Premier League, including a spell as captain of his club. In his youth he represented Notts at cricket and South Notts at football. After being forced to retire from football in 2003 and cricket in 2006 through a serious knee injury, he took up golf and is a member of Springwater Golf Club where he currently plays off a handicap of 9.

David enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, especially watching his son play football. He also enjoys music, theatre, socialising and watching any sport on TV!
