Michael's career at HSBC started in the retail side of the bank where he progressed into branch management. He then took a role as a financial adviser providing tailored financial planning advice to personal clients, helping build and protect their wealth for the benefit of their families.
In the mid 1990's he took a position working within the commercial market as a Commercial Financial Planning Manager which then led to a position as a Commercial IFA. He then progressed to Area Commercial Wealth Manager looking after a team of Financial Advisers providing advice to both commercial and personal clients.
Michael then moved into the regional management team looking after Commercial Independent advisers and restricted Commercial Wealth Managers. He ensured the team maintained the highest professional standards and technical expertise making sure the client always came first.
During the early part of 2013 there were major changes within HSBC as the bank decided to withdraw face to face holistic financial planning to its commercial customers. This gave Michael and his colleagues an exciting future and HFB was formed.
HFB Financial Planning aims to provide Holistic financial planning to both Families and Businesses.
Michael is a professionally qualified financial adviser with a successful track record of providing holistic financial planning advice to clients as well as leading and motivating teams in a fast paced, regulated environment. He is a firm believer in doing what is right for the client and maintaining a very high standard of service to those clients. The main reason for forming HFB was to continue this service proposition within the Commercial and Personal market place.
Michael is married with two children and enjoys playing tennis, running and spending time with his family.
